V1 I've been waiting at least the last 6 months For this night And the morning to come, but it's Bittersweet 'cause two days just don't last And shining smiles Fade to shades of Christmas past One night Gifts & conversations that might get deep Mulled wine 'Cause we still have trouble getting to sleep When our eyes open Christmas morning's finally here But where will we be The same time next year? CH1 This year We put up a few more strings of lights This year I sang harmony on O Holy Night This year we had to fight just to get here Let's do it again, the same time next year V2 Five days Now the New Year keeps its promise to show Three months Where it went, no one could ever have known Time flies, 'cause it's airborne And the world's different now This social distance Brings us closer somehow But lift up your eyes, crack another beer Because we've still got a date The same time next year CH2 This year we got picked up And tossed into the unknown This year reasons to worry Seem like they've only grown But none of that's gonna dampen my cheer I've got love waiting for me Same time next year BR Our whole world could change in an instant The ones we hold close Can feel impossibly distant but Love will carry us through sorrow and fear And take us where we need to be The same time next year

V1 We been stuck inside the house too long We ain't supposed to go out My cabin fever's got me feelin' wrong I got an itch to go south Gas money's a little tight But if we saddle up them horses we can get out tonight CH Pack a suitcase & wash your hands We're gonna answer the call of the Rio Grand I ain't ever been to Texas, but I got you And it's a new world baby, let's try something new V2 I hear they got a lot of open land And a nice warm breeze It's like a whole different planet down there With a lot less trees The sun is hot, the tea is sweet I hear they've got great BBQ But you don't eat meat, still

V1 It's the 17th of March I should be in the street Sportin' a black eye And holdin' a drink But I'm here in my living room On St. Patrick's Day Nothing's been the same Since Tom Brady went away CH It's a mess outside our doors But we'll play these same 4 chords Until our grieving time is through Tom (TOM!) Brady (BRADY!) How could you? V2 He left for the Buccaneers He's gone down south And my buddy down in Tampa Just won't shut his mouth Now my sorrow for the Pats Runs as deep as a well I wonder what's going on In the XFL

Listen up, gals and gents, because we've got the info to keep you in the know! COVID-19 is still spreading, but you can help stop it, ain't that the bee's knees! Just take the very simple steps of washing your hands frequently, coughing into your elbow, keeping your mitts off your face, maintaining distance from others, and staying home as much as possible. Say, you there! Jason: "Who, me?" Yes, you! I see you're your way to a Spring Break beach party Jason: "I sure am!" Well then I've just got one question for ya: what's wrong with you? Jason: "Huh?" I said what's wrong with you, you some kind of sociopath? Jason: "look here, Jack, no virus panic is gonna stop me from living my life!" "I mean you really can't classify it as a panic at this point and really, it actually might do that; it might LITERALLY stop you from living your life. Because you'd be dead; this is all very straightforward information coming from very smart peop- Jason: "Applesauce to you, old man; I'm gonna shake, rattle & roll till this all blows over, now who wants to share a drink from the same cup? Alright, ya know what *noises that indicate I'm leaving the mic and picking something up* Jason: "hey, what's the big ide- *starts getting hit repeatedly w/bat Ya know what keeps me at a safe distance? This Louisville Slugger! Jason: "gahhh, my knees." *returns to mic, breathing heavily* Well, that about covers it for today. Remember to stay home, stay healthy, and listen to smart people. Please.

V1 It's a tough time, being separate From the ones that you care about most I need a lifeline, I've never once Felt this much like a ghost So I'm searching for a place To hold on to Just because I can't touch my face Doesn't mean my smile's gone too CH California's always waiting for ya And I'm bored, yeah But I know that Pacific sun Will always welcome me back So I won't mourn yeah 'Cause the future's never been assured So I'll keep rolling along Till we're reborn and We step back into the light I know it won't be long V2 I've always felt trapped in this town But it's really setting in now Regions unmapped, we've never been here Before, & now we're wondering how We can hold our heads up So we don't drown Pull ourselves together So we can turn it around, Turn it around

When the doors are closed and no where for me to go I stream the shows but it's not the same to me I'm bottled up inside can't keep these feelings repressed I wrote them in songs but no where to be expressed I would wait till this all blows over but now I can't just come over I know that this change is for the better but all these nights we had has left me wanting more I would've wanted one more chance to sing those lines with you but I guess that's just how this story line has to end

V1 Plywood and and nails I'll save then up for when our Currency fails Tell the post office they can Forward my mail 'Cause I'm gonna bail Four walls and a roof Shelter me from the gale CH I'm building a cabin That I can go mad in A place that I'll know best No matter what happens It's close to the river And I'm a believer That if I catch one thing It'll be cabin fever V2 I fear to inhale 'Cause sawdust makes me cough And bodies are frail The fear will not make my Complexion turn pale But living entails Much more than survival Lord please tear this veil BR Blood blisters Dry hands No visitors Here I stand
13.
I gotta contemplate I got a lot a on my plate The world's scary of late And everybody's inside Thinkin' about their fate 'Cause you don't know the date You've always known it could happen Any second, but wait This is different Something you don't know how to approach Something you don't understand Could stomp you out like a roach And then it's over Anticlimactic, I know But this ain't a movie, a book, or a TV show You are not the protagonist Who slays the dragon it's A narrative we tell ourselves So terror isn't how we live But we're all just extras Equal billing with the rest, huh? This is Game of Thrones Except nobody wins And we all turn to stone See I've been wondering If anybody else has been hungering For an understanding Of the visions that've been thundering Through the dreams of humanity Since time immemorial What are we When we are no longer corporeal? It's impossible to know for a fact 'Cause what we lack Is someone to ask about it 'Cause they don't come back The more I think about it The more it couldn't be clearer That too much thinking about it Brings it that much nearer I must remember None of us is alone We all share the same fear Of the unknown My dry hands crack But they still bleed, and so I know I am flesh and not stone
14.
15.
V1 Your eyes, the deepest shade of sincere But his glance sideways at me with fear And I can't contain My grief Drop my own eyes down to my feet And just walk by I bet you're sweet but I'll never know CH You smile so wide I ache inside 'Cause I know I'll never get the chance To hold you to my side To feel your coat And your nose so cold Feel like I'm in a fog 'Cause I can't get close enough to a stranger To pet their dog V2 Before this I would have stretched out my hand for you So you could get A sniff But now that's out of the question too, because Your leash Keeps you closer than 6 ft to him And it isn't safe To reach So I watch you go

Day dreaming the day away Making plans to escape my head Someday soon Travel far from where I've been Oh find my way to my happy place find my way to my happy place Plot schemes Map my goals Taking steps towards what I know Will be closure One more night back in The Space Oh find my way to my happy place find my way to my happy place

If you were truly invisible, you wouldn't be able to see anything because light would travel right through your eyeballs. The flavor of water is its temperature. Watering a lake makes it grow. Your hand size determines you Sign Language font size. Bluegrass? That's dumb. Grass is green. No matter where you go, you never see anyone with the same refrigerator as you. They don't think it be like it is, but it do.
23.
V1 Cleanse your hands The filth of the ages Creeps beneath your fingernails Shifting sands Uncertainty rages What you once thought Was solid ground fails Embraced by the arms of quarantine Terror is no more Than a crutch on which to lean Your clutch on familiarity Tightens as you fear You aren't adequately clean CH Run to the mountains Shelter within the shadow of the summit Pour from the fountain A torrent of rage And see the change flow from it (2x) V2 Elevate Fulfill your ascent to the peak By any means before your Spirit breaks It's worth every wound And every single day wracked with horror Take false leaders to task for their sins Tearing life from your mouth While their own wears a grin Strive on, forgetting what lies behind What matters is your destination Not where you've been BREAKDOWN Isolation Fallen nation Vile leaders Those their greed hurts Will rise Will rise

INTRO I've been walking around this city and I've been stalking, the birds & kitties, 'cause Human contact is a little risky and I can pet a cat But I'm not gonna shake your hand I just wave V1 This human touch thing is overrated A high five is a greeting But that's also what I'd rate it On a scale of 1-10 It's average I'm afraid and If you don't mind from here on out When your hand goes up Don't wait for a slap I just wave CH Don't mean to leave you hanging But times have been changing And I don't mind the distance Don't ask me for a fist bump Stay over there and wave V2 I wanna be honest with you for just minute Feel like every handshake Is a Trojan Horse with illness in it Waiting to be opened up And spread around across the planet Going viral in the worst way You could possibly imagine so I'm gonna wave at you from all the way across the street Don't get out your seat 'Cause I will bring the heat If you bring yourself within 6 feet of me I'm-a wave & I'm gonna stay inside Playing video games Hanging out with my wife And my 2 dogs man that's all that I need But I can't keep singing at this kind of speed
